This blog was supposed ...Glad you like the honesty! This blog was supposed to be a mash-up of several interests and free-form writing thoughts, mostly introspective. But once I separated my hobbies into their own blogs I sort of forgot this one. Also, I was pretty sick for a long time and just didn't know what to do with myself.

So, now that I'm better I can think more clearly.

I am doing a fair bit of writing but it's either saved to my hard drive waiting for some polishing or hiding in a note book in my car.

I do like to be myself, whomever that may be, whatever the topic might be.

Glad you came by, you're always welcome to visit!houndhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12461545986646322317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2757835106895069345.post-29502588231250473892011-09-05T20:25:47.478-07:002011-09-05T20:25:47.478-07:00Oh hi!

Who would do that?"

I did see the movie, or at least one inspired by it. The guy was running around in the desert like a fool. Happy, but a fool none the less. It was hard watching him try everything he could think of. Somehow you just knew that there was only one way out and he was aware of it the whole time, but we cling to the things we are familiar with, the things that have become a part of our lives.

Every time I have ever walked away from a job I felt like I had lost something that could not live without.

Loving the Velvet Cafe!houndhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12461545986646322317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2757835106895069345.post-74818114001544818492011-08-22T13:48:58.422-07:002011-08-22T13:48:58.422-07:00To cut of a limb... How true isn't that and ho...To cut of a limb... How true isn't that and how much haven't I struggled, how much don't I still struggle with it? Did you ever see 127 hours or read the book it's based on? The image of a man stuck with his arm under stone. The realization that he needs to cut off his arm to survive. It haunts me. Cutting off your arm is harder than you might think. Even if it's just an image.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2757835106895069345.post-9568740907267089802011-08-22T13:45:18.543-07:002011-08-22T13:45:18.543-07:00Hello there! I have the feeling this is a place where there's no pretence, where you're just yourself. That suits me fine.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2757835106895069345.post-21325911393137882432009-12-30T15:36:08.104-08:002009-12-30T15:36:08.104-08:00Hi gigahound- I think you have told very well why ...Hi gigahound- I think you have told very well why you write. You just have stories inside that have to become more than nebulous feelings, but need to have words attached. Hey! If I can finish a couple of things, you can too!Sharkbyteshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10139935335209860357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2757835106895069345.post-45760498021821139022009-12-30T10:56:08.488-08:002009-12-30T10:56:08.488-08:00They sky is not the limit. With writing, we can go...They sky is not the limit. With writing, we can go beyond the sky, beyond the earth, under the earth, into the human body, the human condition, the human soul or the lack thereof. We are not even limited by the dimensions and universes we can see - we create life, worlds, give birth to new people, new stories.

You are where I was... you need to finish something major, because once you finally do, it's like a flood gate being opened.

I too wrote dark poetry, not occult, but dark emotions and anger and angst. Not so much anymore, but what a release and outlet it was for me at one time.

Keep writing! I really enjoyed reading this!

Love and stuff,
MichyMichelle L.
